MEROPENEM (MEROFED) INJECTION – TREATMENT FOR SEVERE BACTERIAL INFECTIONS

Merofed 1gm Injection is an antibiotic used to treat severe infections of the skin, lungs, stomach, urinary tract, blood, and brain. It works by killing the bacteria that cause these issues. However, it will not treat a viral infection.

Merofed 1gm Injection is commonly used to treat critically ill patients admitted to the hospital. This medication is administered via drip/infusion or direct injection into a vein under the supervision of a doctor or nurse. The dose will vary depending on the type of infection, where it is located in the body, and how serious it is. Even if your symptoms improve quickly, you should continue to take the injection for the duration prescribed.
