Description

AZTREONAM (AZTRONE) INJECTION – TREATMENT OF BACTERIAL INFECTIONS

An anti-infection used to prevent or treat a broad range of bacterial diseases is aztreonam injection. The urinary tract, blood, brain, ear, epidermis, soft tissue, mid-region, bone, windpipe, and lungs may all be affected. The anti-toxin aztreonam, also known as azactam, is primarily used to address illnesses caused by gram-negative microorganisms like Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This may include pneumonia, urinary tract infection, endometritis, intra-abdominal illness, bone contamination, and sepsis.

How is Aztreonam Injection used?

Aztreonam injection is given as a dribble (intravenous concoction) or as an infusion directly into a vein or a muscle under the guidance of a medical expert. According to your PCP’s recommendations, it should be used frequently over spaced-out time intervals. Regardless of how you are feeling, try to complete the full therapy program and don’t miss any meals.

Common Side effects of Aztreonam Injection:

The most well-known effects might be rash, heaving, nausea, and runs. Additionally, the infusion location may experience temporary pain, swelling, and redness. If any of these findings persist or if your condition doesn’t get better despite treatment, speak with your primary care physician.
