BICALUTAMIDE (BICALMID) TABLET – TREATMENT OF CANCER IN THE PROSTATE GLAND

Bicalmid Tablet should ideally be taken at the same time every day, with or without food. The dosage and administration schedule that are right for you will be decided by your doctor. This is dependent on the illness for which you are receiving treatment and is subject to change. The advice from your doctor should be followed exactly. If used wrongly or excessively, its adverse effects could be extremely severe. You might not start to notice the benefits for a few weeks or months, but you shouldn’t stop taking it until your doctor tells you to.

Common Side Effects of the Tablet.

A relatively frequent adverse effect of this medication is anemia (a low level of red blood cells). Other adverse effects that call for rapid attention include skin rash, appetite loss, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, and skin discoloration. While using this medication, you must have routine blood tests to monitor your blood cells and liver function. You should exercise extra caution when you go out because it makes your skin more vulnerable to the sun.
