Ovarian cancer is treated with Hycamtin Capsule. By halting or reducing the development of cancer cells, it demonstrates its effectiveness.
You can take a Hycamtin Capsule with or without meals, but it’s best to take it at the same time each day. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage and frequency of administration for you. This is based on the condition you are being treated for and is subject to change.

WORKS OF TOPOTECAN (HYCAMTIN) CAPSULE
An anti-cancer drug is Hycamtin Capsule. It functions by reducing the activity of an enzyme (topoisomerase I) necessary for the cancer cells’ DNA replication. As a result, cancer cells finally perish and their proliferation is slowed.

- Tiredness
- Vomiting
- Weakness
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Indigestion
- Decreased white blood cell count
- Decreased blood cells (red cells, white cells, and platelets)
- Diarrhea
WARNING & PRECAUTIONS
- Driving
Hycamtin Capsule may cause side effects that could affect your ability to drive.
Hycamtin Capsule can make you feel tired and this may affect your ability to drive.
- Pregnancy
Hycamtin Capsule usage is not advised during pregnancy since there is clear evidence that it poses harm to the unborn child. However, if the advantages outweigh the possible hazards, a doctor could very rarely recommend it in specific life-threatening circumstances. Please speak with your physician.
